Just a thought - did you remove the SD card? |

A bit pricey but you'll have a "c" with red trim. You think for BNIB at the store? Upgrade was easy no problems just like most have said. Also not my first time flashing a motorola. Thanks Again |

I'd try the "z" & "e" then "power" reset function a few more times. press the keys in sequence and see what happens. |

Hey gang,
Here's how the story unfolded. I tried the sequence of z, e, power, e, z, power, you name it.. no luck. Since I need my phone desperately for work, I caved and went to Verizon Wireless today to see if he had the tools in the service center to kick it back out of flash mode. He calmly replied, "thats the hardest screen to get out of. here's a new Q9c." and handed me a brand new one.
So, should I tried it again? hahaha this time i'm using a winxp 32bit machine and i'm letting the drivers install first, then upgrading the driver to the new version.. idk i'm nervous haha |

You'll do fine from a 32 bit machine. (Q) |

Ok, as if my story couldn't get better, check this out..
they gave me a brand new phone with Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard installed onto it. It's a Motorola Q9c and everything. I took the stickers off myself so I know it's new. That's WIIIILD. That means that by bricking my phone, I got a 6.1 version instead haha. I feel sorta rude but goal accomplished. I was wondering why I all of a sudden had threaded sms msgs.. i thought I was using AIM or something.
So do you think Moto is releasing the new Q's with 6.1 and I happened to have gotten a fresh one, or did they flash it in the store or what the hell happened here?
Anyhow, i'm so psyched.
Again, Qarena51, you're such a great help, and a great friend. Thanks so much. I'll stay a regular on this board because I can feel the urge already to install all kinds of bad ass applications.
We all know about http://www.smartphone-freeware.com right? |

Hay, man - glad for ya !!!! You might want to check the mfg date on the sticker under the battery for the date. That'd be a hint for sure. Yeah, stick around, we'll have fun. We usually do around here. Thanks for being with us !!!!! Check our dowloads area and MagicMan's Apps too. Lots of good stuff for ya.
Have a blast !!!!!!!!!!!! |
