LG Incite reviewed - verdict: rather mediocre phone November 25, 2008 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R.
Here comes a very detailed and exhaustive review of the LG Incite - a Windows Mobile phone available since recently at AT&T Wireless in USA. This phone has some nice things, including accelerometer and proximity sensor (why HTC claims, that proximity sensor is patented and they can't use it if LG can?) but on the other hand low resolution display (240x400) and camera without autofocus, combined with some other deficiencies, make this phone less interesting than HTC's Fuze also available at AT&T Wireless:
Incite packs some great features found only in high-end smartphones, but unfortunately, the device is saddled with so many usability and quality problems that it's hard to get excited about it. Using the Incite has made me miss the refinement that is found on HTC and Samsung Windows Mobile devices. If you're on the AT&T network and have an extra $100 to spend, get the Fuze - you'll be a lot happier.
