HTC Touch Pro coming also to Verizon USA November 23, 2008 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R.
After Sprint (as HTC Touch Pro) and AT&T (as HTC Fuze) this excellent phone is coming also to Verizon USA and HTC even touts the "no ActiveSync necessary" feature:
Microsoft Office Mobile – view and edit Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel files and attachments. View Microsoft PowerPoint files and attachments. Wireless Exchange synchronization with Microsoft Exchange 2003, enhanced features with Microsoft Exchange Server 2007. Integrated multiple e-mail accounts, with Push E-mail capability with Microsoft Exchange. Adobe Reader LE PDF Viewer, ZIP files and attachments. Vista compatible – will synchronize on Vista as plug and play, no need to load ActiveSync or other software. WorldCard Mobile business card reader.

See also our review of HTC Touch Pro http://msmobiles.com/news.php/7791.html (for Sprint - also a CDMA network like Verizon).
Note: the HTC Touch Pro offers accelometer (aka tilt sensor) that is not available at Sony Ericsson Xperia X1, so in a sense it is even better than X1! (not to mention the scroll wheel that makes zooming in and out very easy - in Opera and PDF viewer) |
